Shopping & Wax FAQs
How much wax comes in a tin?
Each WaffleWax stick wax comes in a tin with 3 oz of wax.
How do I apply WaffleWax?
Start with clean, dry hockey tape on your stick blade. Replace worn or torn tape before applying. Rub WaffleWax directly onto the taped forehand, backhand, and toe. Aim for a thin, even coating. Smooth the wax into the tape with a few extra passes. Start light and add a little more to suit your preferred feel.
When should I reapply?
Reapply when the coating wears down or after retaping. Let wet tape dry before adding more wax.
How should I store my wax?
Store your wax in its closed tin, away from direct sunlight and heat. Smells like a snack. Made for your stick. Do not eat.
How do I choose a scent?
For a breakfast-inspired scent, try Waffles, Blueberry Waffles, or Fruity Loops. For sweet cotton candy, choose Cotton Candy. Dreamsicle blends orange and vanilla; Bahama Breeze blends coconut, pineapple, and citrus; Pro Clear has a vanilla-coconut scent. Check each product page for its own details.
Is Goalie Butter the same as stick wax?
No. Goalie Butter is a goalie pad glide treatment, applied to the inner sliding surface of dry goalie pads. It is designed for pads with flat or semi-flat inner surfaces. Follow the directions on its product page.
How do I choose an apparel size?
Check the sizing information on the specific product page. Where measurements are provided, check whether they refer to body measurements or flat garment measurements. Youth and adult sizes use different guides. If your product does not have a measurement guide, contact us before ordering.
When will my wax order ship?
In-stock wax orders usually ship within 1–2 business days. This is processing time before shipment, not delivery time. Delivery time is additional and depends on your shipping option and destination.
Where can I check shipping and return details?
Shipping costs depend on the items in your order and your delivery address. Enter your address at checkout to see available shipping options and costs before paying.
Review our shipping policy and refund policy before ordering.
Which hockey camp should I register for?
Choose the camp listing for your player's age group, or the dedicated Goalie Group listing. Check the dates, session times, location, and included items on that listing. Follow the player-name instructions shown during registration.
